When Omri Green, previously from Magnolia Bakery, joined the startup Purest Foods, he knew he needed the expertise of Sabir Semerkant to bring their concept to life. Co-founded by Chef Michael Batt and Gallia Batt, Purest Foods aimed to provide chef-quality prepped meals to consumers. With a stellar culinary reputation, Chef Michael had prepared meals for notable celebrities like Ron Howard. The team sought Sabir's guidance to transform their vision into a successful business.
Results
With a 8-D Strategy Deep Dive strategy and roadmap created by Sabir, Purest Foods embarked on their journey to build a brand that would revolutionize the prepped meal industry. The approach involved two essential steps. First, they needed a proper eCommerce website to offer direct purchasing to consumers. This required careful development and implementation, which took approximately 12-16 weeks to complete. Secondly, to test the concept and generate sales, a temporary Shopify store was created, allowing them to validate their idea and conduct marketing tests.
In a remarkable display of dedication, Sabir personally built the entire temporary site over a single weekend, while Omri Green contributed copy, content, and photos. The sales started pouring in from the day the temporary site went live. Three months later, once the development partner completed the branded site, Purest Foods transitioned to the fully functional eCommerce website.
